He was also recently tapped to make an appearance at Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival, and on November 10 received a standing ovation while making his debut on the Grand Ole Opry.

Vasti Jackson:

Multiple Grammy nominated world renowned guitarist, vocalist, composer, producer, actor, musical director Vasti Jackson, 2022 JMA Lifetime Achieve recipient, 2019 Polar International Music Award (Playing for change) 2017 Mississippi Arts Ambassador, 2016 recording artist Grammy nominee (The Soul of Jimmie Rogers) 2015 Albert King Lifetime Guitar Award, 2014 Mississippi Cultural ambassador, 2012 Mississippi Musicians Hall of Fame inductee, and 2011 Mississippi Living Blues Legend Award recipient.

Snowden Wright:

Born and raised in Mississippi, Snowden Wright is the author of the crime novel, The Queen City Detective Agency. His previous book was, American Pop, a Wall Street Journal Book of the Month and NPR Best Book of the Year. He has written for The Atlantic, Salon, Esquire, The Millions, and the New York Daily News, among other publications, and previously worked as a fiction reader at The New Yorker, Esquire, and The Paris Review.
